Online we accept these major credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Credit card payments generally get declined for a number of reasons including insufficient funds, frozen account status, invalid credit card number or expiration date, invalid CVV number, etc. Unfortunately the card issuing bank often does not provide us additional details regarding the reason for the decline -- that's why the error you see simply states "transaction declined".
If no reason is given, you'll need to contact the card issuing bank for more information about the specific reason for your decline.
Yes. A 2.75% credit card fee and a $5.95 convenience fee is added to all payments. If you're making a monthly installment payment, the convenience fee drops to $2.95.
Please contact the Court if you believe a refund is necessary. Be prepared to provide information about your transaction such as your name, case/citation number, date of transaction, transaction amount and last four digits of the credit card number.
Once your payment is made, any convenience fees or credit card fees applied to your payment are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
